Greg Dyer Design: Creative Director 3D, Motion Graphics, Web, UI Artist   11/1998 Present

I have fully and solely produced hundreds of 3D/Motion Graphic projects, 3D product Visualizations
and 3D Animations for everything from Commercial Broadcast and Architectural Visualization to Video Games Cinematics and Web Presentations. Art Directing,  Designing and hands on 3D Modelling , Animating,  Editing,  Compositing  and adding 2D and 3D Visual Effects.

The Design and Development of dozens of web sites, both custom as well as WordPress has also been part of my experience. In that capacity I also created the Graphics and did the Photography which I also digitally retouched.  I have always focused on practices that have resulted in my clients increased revenues.

I have produced projects for cutting edge companies including Blue Planet Software, Berkeley Systems, The J.Paul Getty Museum, Wild Brain Animation, Pacific Media Group, Senovva, The Post Factory, Cooked Post Production, Inhance Digital, among several others.

Psygnosis: Senior 3D Artist  11/1997 11/1998
In this role I found and defined the animation production path for the project, mastering various game engine and production tools and sharing this knowledge with the other members of the team.  Additional responsibilities included 3D modelling and mapping low poly 3D environments and 3D characters, producing UVW texture maps and producing concept and character designs.  I worked with various 3D and compositing programs including After Effects, 3D Studio Max, Maya and other game engine tools. I rigged IK skeletons to work with the game engine and animated them with Softimage.

Postlinear Entertainment: Senior 3D Artist  04/1996 11/1997
I produced 3D cut scenes for CD-ROM games. My responsibilities involved design, storyboarding, animatics, 3D NURBS modelling, 3D animation, shader writing, camera matching and compositing. On other projects I created low-poly environment and character models and character animation.

Spectrum Holobyte (Microprose): 3D Artist  11/1992 02/1996
I worked on several successful Sega, Snes and CD-ROM Star Trek licenses producing 2D and 3D design, texture maps, 3D models, 3D character and effect animations.  I wrote and designed an original game concept leading a 6 member team also acting as Art Director.

Freelance Graphic Designer  11/1984 11/1992
During these years I worked for several top companies in the action sports industry as a product and action sports photographer, a graphic designer, illustrator, t-shirt and skateboard artist, darkroom and screen printing technical artist. The companies included Vision, Sims, Schmitt Stix, Black Label, Maui and Sons, Gotcha, O.P. and Simple (among others.) The art I created during this time is still collected today featured in books such “Disposable: A History of Skateboard Art” and displayed in collection in Skateboard Art Museums
around the world.
